"Who among you doesn't appreciate one style of music or another?" It's a universal platform that brings people of all walks of life together. Melodies... harmonies... they have the power to unite young and old alike on common ground. And in times of worship, that common ground is holy ground. In an atmosphere of worship people are set free, healed, delivered, made whole, given hope, encouraged, broken, restored, made new, and even saved by the grace of God. All of this in the midst of voices uniting under one banner. The power of music. That's what you'll find at The Rivers Edge Church.
The members of the worship team at The Rivers Edge are an example of 'worship' in itself. You see, the team is made up of the most unlikely souls, partnering together in unity for the glory of God the Father, and in service to the church body. Folks from every walk of life are represented here... from those serving God since their childhood, to those who are brand new to the faith. From checkered pasts, to spotless background checks. From the elite in musical knowledge and theory, to no formal training at all... not even one lesson. From loud speaking boldness to soft-spoken uncertainty. From those that can hear the music... to those who can 'feel' it. The team is an eclectic bunch drawn together by their common faith, parallel callings, and similar talents in the art of music.

Our worship leader, Richard Andrew, has a sincere passion for praise and worship. With an appreciation for all musical genres, his style is a combination of grit and softness. He welcomes the imperfections of live music, and ties them together with a rehearsed performance. All while leaving room for the God of the universe to make any changes He sees fit during the worship service. Some have said, "it flows" and that is exactly what Richard aspires to. Carrying the listener far from the cares of this world, into the presence of a loving and very real God.
So here are some rules you need to be aware of before joining us for worship: there are no rules. There is no "wrong" way to worship....as long as your focus is sincerely on HIM. Come, now is the time to worship!
